Process Overview
1. Surface Preparation
We started by thoroughly cleaning and preparing the existing surface, carrying out localised repairs to ensure a solid and stable base ready for the resin application.
2. Drainage Enhancements
A new channel drain was installed across the entrance to help manage surface water efficiently and protect the driveway from pooling during heavy rain.
3. Resin Bound Surfacing
The customer selected a warm golden aggregate blend, perfectly suited to complement the natural tones of the house and garden. Once mixed with a UV-stable resin, the aggregate was carefully spread and trowelled across the driveway to create a smooth, seamless finish that is both highly durable and fully permeable.
4. Finishing Touches
The driveway was edged neatly with a contrasting block border at the entrance, giving the space a crisp, finished look and helping to define the edges beautifully.
